Residential HVAC Service Technician (G2) – Toronto | $45–$50/hr

Weld Talent is recruiting on behalf of an established residential HVAC contractor in the Toronto area for a full-time Residential HVAC Service Technician.

This is a residential service role, not a commercial one. You will diagnose, repair and maintain furnaces, boilers, ductless mini-splits and a wide range of HVAC brands and equipment in homes across Toronto, with some work in Durham Region and York Region.

The role pays $45–$50 per hour, includes a company vehicle you take home, and the on-call rotation is one week every eight weeks with a 9:00 PM service cutoff — no 24/7 call. Candidates should live reasonably close to Toronto / the GTA.

This client is looking for a technician who wants to build a career in residential service. It is not a fit for someone whose goal is to move into commercial work or pursue 313A / G1 as a path out of residential service.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair residential HVAC systems across a wide range of brands and equipment
• Service and repair boilers in residential settings
• Install, service and troubleshoot ductless mini-split systems
• Complete service calls in Toronto, with some work in Durham Region and York Region
• Participate in the on-call rotation: one week every eight weeks, with service ending at 9:00 PM
• Work additional hours during busy periods
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
