Residential versus commercial HVAC hiring

Residential service and commercial mechanical hiring draw from overlapping but distinct candidate pools. A strong residential technician is used to in-home diagnostics across furnaces, boilers, and ductless systems and to customer-facing work. A commercial technician is more likely to work on rooftop units, chillers, and building systems. Because those requirements differ, we screen for the specific equipment and setting up front.
